Couldn't resist, going to have this in the upstairs office.

I took my F30 330d to the main dealer in Crewe today for its annual service and MOT. I vowed never to let them work on the car again after they changed the AC condenser 3 years ago, and half the bolts on the main cross member were either loose or missing. But they have always price matched the best service quote from an Independent. Plus it also means that the service history is complete.

This year, it was just a short service - oil change and microfilter. So dropped the car off first thing, collected an almost new 320d courtesy car, and left it with them. Got a call mid afternoon to say the car was ready and had passed its MOT without any issues, as usual. I pulled out of the car park behind a passing lorry that was making a hell of a racket - a loud metallic screeching noise, and travelled a few yards before I realised that it was coming from the front end of my car - sounding like the brakes. Couldn't be the pads as they are still on 90% of their original thickness. The service...

As per the thread title.
Fuel consumption not quite so good this last month - likely due to being:
1. Overloaded
2. Cruising between 90 and 100mph on the Autobahnen.
3. Freezing conditions in Austria, Hungary, and Croatia.
I usually get over 60mpg - but this trip it works out at around 56mpg.
