Some rapscallion threw a bottle at my car when it was parked up. At first I thought no damage (I didn’t witness it) but then found my headlight washer is loose and wobbly when I was washing her.

I need to activate the washer and hold it out.

Any guesses if it’s just I clipped somehow.

Had issues previously with washer covers and painting them alone is like £50.

They’re usually clipped to the nozzle of the washer telescope, if you can get a grip of it you should be able to slowly pull it out by hand to get a better look

Yes got it cheers, I had to reactivate the wash through Carly as I forgot I deactivated it.

Seems the washer cover is ok, it’s the black housing attached to the bumper that has come loose.

So need to find some diagrams to see the assembly. Otherwise thinking it could need a plastic weld or something.

Yes that’s usually part of the bumper although if it’s come away that suggests it’s possibly a separate piece bonded to the bumper in this instance so could be something you could fashion back on if you remove the bumper

Well I just haven't got time to do this and it's bugging my OCD.

So it's booked in with the local BMW body shop to be done in a day.

    £150 lighter.

I'm off that whole day so will get good use of the courtesy car which sounds like it might ne a hybrid as reception asked if this was ok...
