... a new to him G21 M340d in individual Twilight Purple with Cognac leather with the M Sport seats. He p.exed his G21 320d manual. Picked the car up from Hungerford yesterday and did 55 mpg back to Cheshire. I haven't driven it but was a passenger for a few blasts down the dual carriageway and man can this thing shift, piling on speed so effortlessly whilst although being damp never squirmed or lost its line. Extremely impressive. Interior wise the lack of physical buttons/dials for climate control, Heated seats etc would probably bug me but the satnav is great. Big spec with Sunroof, M Sport seats (standard M3 seats), Comfort Pack Plus and Technology Pack. The only thing he wanted that this car doesn't have is Driving Assistant Professional. You can't get these new now that BMW UK have dropped this engine. Shame as it's a superb alrounder. Z4 35is DCT is his other car.
That is a lovely machine. Looks fantastic, and different, in that colour. Sounds like a lovely spec as well. The torque in that thing must be mad.
That is fabulous! I love that colour - personally would’ve loved to wanted have white leather interior but IMO cognac would be perfect with that colour too and much more interesting than black. Wouldn’t necessarily have gone oil burner myself with that but the M340i instead. But having had the E60 535d 15yrs ago, I can only imagine what BMW have managed to do to make that engine an absolute weapon in the intervening years. Thanks for sharing!
Yep the Cognac interior compliments it very well. It's a standard leather colour option. Merino Individual would have been very nice though!
