Managed to track you down!

To be fair it was a 59 reg with 100k odd on the clock, a pool car. They used to lend me an E class which was miles better, but that has been auctioned as it had been to the moon and back!
If you are down south lakes then also head for brockhole and the tree top trek, they have a massive double zip wire and 'Go Ape' type thing. Paulo Gianni's Italian restaurant in Kendal is also very cheap and good if you are around there.

Just tuned in after the trip to Keswick, another great long weekend of eating, drinking, laughing and fell walking. Not necessarily always in that order.
We are probably due a stay in the south lakes area so your recommendations are noted.
