E8x / E9x / e6x Speaker Upgrades - who has what?

    Has anyone changed the speakers on their 1 / 3 / 5 series? What did you go for and why? What do you think of the results?

    What speakers did you use to replace the factory 4"?

    What woofers / subs did you fit in place of the factory under seat woofers?

    Research shows there are a lot of made-to-fit kits out there, but finding reviews is a bit trickier!

    I had their System 2 Plus fitted to my E70 X5 and I gather the system is pretty much the same for all of the latter E-series cars. I can't speak highly enough of both the workmanship and the sound quality. Simply stunning and made me want to sit in my car for hours just listening to music! :)

    It's the one big regret I have of selling my X5.

    Once my motorhome is sorted and I have sufficient funds, I plan on taking a trip down to see Gary to get him to work some magic on my 2001 Merc Sprinter motorhome with lots of soundproofing, a decent headunit and some decent cones/sub.
