A days break in the rain called for a roof down trip out so the North Yorkshire Dales were the choice. 236 miles in glorious sun with nothing other than me, Bella and some proper dodgy music from the late 70s to early 80s (good old Toyah and Co.), oh, and loads of the middle of knowhere. The Cumbrian West Coast Road and over the Yorkshire, Hawes, Tan Hill, Buttertubs picking up the M6 J38 - J40 for an Italian Tune, A66, A595 then home for a quick wash before tea. Damp roads with the odd bit of slush, my ASC had it's 25 yearly functional test and passed with flying colours Not a lot of traffic about aided my progress and the few other drivers I came across quickly realised that they were in inferior vehicles and pulled over, as they should Obligatory pics.
