OK, I've got the new power washer and a snow-foam lance - so which is the best snow-foam shampoo to get?

Have a look at the Bilt Hamber stuff, doesn't produce the 'super thick' shaving-cream type of foam but the cleaning ability is very good. (y)

Another one to consider is Meguiars Hyper Wash. Cost slightly more than most but the Dilution Ratio is fantastic therefore lasts much longer , nice thick foam too. Lot s on the market to choose from though but always check the Dilution Ratio.

My favourite is the Autosmart one, actimouse or something like that. I find most snow foams don't actually do anything other than wet the car, but actimouse has some bite to it

My paintwork always beads well after foaming, so it would seem that protection is unaffected. Also, a wide consensus seems to indicate that FSP is not removed if the product is used at the recommended dilution- a random Google here, but plenty of opinion to choose from. http://detailingworld.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2202278

I thought you waxed/sealed yours every couple of weeks anyway....... :D
