Cornwall 2025
The seemingly annual Cornwall trip was undertaken this Easter. I had wanted to book somewhere for the family to stay for a while, but it took me an age to find the right location, house, parking etc. In May of last year I found a house in St Ives for the family, it ticked all the boxes for us:
- walking distance to the town
- parking for four cars
- five bedrooms (Mrs W, two sons, two step-daughters, two step-son-in-laws, two granddaughters and a grandson!)
The place is called Day Dawn, a stunning house built purposefully for the holiday crowd, converted from a semi-detached bungalow, but flipped upside down so that the living area has all the views of the bay. So I booked it nearly nine months ago as finding another one that ticks all the boxes would be tough. A long wait until this Easter!
Mrs W and I planned a trip to Fowey the day before we all met up in St Ives, some peace and quiet before the fun of the family. We left at 6am on Thursday 17th, packed the car and headed down... -
