    I see you operate on the 'just in time' principle, like all the major motor manufacturers etc :hehe:

    @zarnd

    it looks very utilitarian

    I think i would have to invest in some cheap wheel trims to make the a little more aesthetically pleasing

    I point blank refuse to spend money on it as it is just a work horse for the wife and kids.

    Well today I took off the 18" winters and put my 19" 403M summer wheels back on.

    The car now looks and feels more purposeful. Gone is the slightly vague feedback of the Soto winter tyres, replaced by the sharp handling of the P Zeros.
    Even the ride seems better although a bit firmer.

    I gave them a good clean inside and out today, left them out on the lawn to dry and put them away earlier this evening

    Those 19s look good.

    The summer tyres stayed on the X6 last winter. We were away for 2.5 months and the background temperature here stayed mild for the most part.

    Yes, the wheels do look good on the car. The only problem being that if you come within a whisper of a kerb while parking they will mark easily. I had no need for winter tyres either, this year, and it's the first set of winter tyres that I've ever had, but at least they have saved the wear on my summers.

    On the old X5, the difference between winters and summers, even with all wheel drive, was obvious. On the B10 which preceded it, the difference was impossible to miss, ignore, or pretend it was not significant, just in clod conditions, let alone sleet and snow. The X6M has proved to be a bit tricky. If the temperature is abound 5C or higher, it doesn't seem to like winters. It squirms as if the tyres are chewing gum. It's probably the torque.

    Kerbs. Yeah. tell me about it! Actually don't! We've all been there.
