To change the car or not to change, that is the question.

To be fair I’d not seen this one in the flesh. So it was a nice feature of the reveal.

 

In 2015 when we picked my wife’s 2013 Audi A1 they said that they only do the big show for new cars, regardless of the value of the second hand cars.

 

yes l was aware that you had bought the car sight unseen so the black sheet reveal was your first real look at the car so in your case worth doing

 

Very nice touch to get a reveal like that, makes you feel valued. When I got my M5 it was just left outside for me to pick up, was quite pee'd off bearing in mind what type of car it is, was expecting a nicer presentation. So fair play to that dealership, they know how to give a customer that special handover.

 

I didn’t get that treatment with any of the 3 brand new BMWs I have had.

Maybe Barons have upped their game in the hand over part of the process. Brand new showroom, with a Mini dealership attached, so possibly easier space wise.
When I got there it was parked around the corner next to the large glass doors, so I was only expecting to walk outside and drive off.
It was a nice touch, and a great ending to a pretty painless purchase. He even complimented me on the condition of the E92.

 

Never had that "unveiling" on any of the 4 new BMWs weve bought.
Both local dealerships have a dedicated "handover" area in the showroom
