20240224_131149.jpg A good 400+ miles under the belt a couple of weekends ago, a tad chilly but no rain all weekend so roof down all day for both days.

A great outing. Thanks for sharing.

Hopefully all that road muck will rinse off as you’ve given the car a good coating recently.
I’m liking the Mad Max-esque space saver look.

Stunning roads and not a lot of traffic on both days, which was nice. Some folk delete the spacesaver to save weight ..... on a Z3. It's saved me twice now, 1 x cracked rim and this one with a puncture right on the edge, foam ain't saving either of those.

All clean until the next time with new boots all round, Michelin Pilot Sport 5s.

    Great trip and roads.

We stayed at the Tan Hill Inn back in September 2020. Opened the window to the room which immediately blew shut it was so windy up there. It's on the Pennine way so popular with walkers.

Passenger seat. The C-in-C took the bus home

I've since purchased a bespoke boot mat to put the punctured tyre/wheel on.

I carry a big black garden refuse bag for the punctured tyre/wheel which according to Murphy's Law will be both very dirty and very wet.

Folded flat, it takes up no room at all.

We have a white bag to store the damaged wheel. Its part of the original tool kit. I do really need to remove the spare , clean it up and get a new tyre. It has not had any attention since son bought the car 12 years ago. i have considered putting a luggage rack on the boot for emergency use.

This is the kit I'm on about, it's a few inches thick and folds up small enough to keep in the boot with luggage.

It's about £80, well worth it though.
