We have a road near to us that was changed over a year ago from 60mph to 50mph and even 40mph in some places. I've done the recent Next 2022-1 nav update and the SLI still says 60mph on that road. Any ideas? Perhaps it'll get picked up soon. I don't suppose there's any customer interaction in regard to nav updates is there, i.e. a website somewhere where we tell them of changes around us?

You used to be able to submit nav changes to the nav map supplier, I’m not sure who supplies them nowadays though. Takes a long time for stuff to make it into the nav data though.

I was just about to reply! :rotate:

Update on the feedback thing, I just had a 2-minute online chat with BMW HQ and the answer is "no", there isn't a feedback option for customers to provide info (new roads etc) to the map provider.

    Hi
Glad to say I finally got it sorted. I got the emulator from a seller on eBay (link below for anyone interested) and they were a massive help. They said they weren't sure it would work on my system, but said give it a go and offered a full refund in the event it didn't. At first I thought it hadn't worked and was in touch with the seller, who tried to help and as promised offered the full refund. After some perseverance I found the missing coding item hidden away in my Instrument cluster and BINGO!, SLI appears in both my cluster and HUD. Well pleased as you can imagine.

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough

    Hi Adie
Had a couple of minor glitches which may be down to the system in my car. But to double check, would you be able to recall which modules you coded and what the items were in those modules.

    Thanks

The settings i amended are all under the KOMBI module.

Set to AKTIV for the following:

    3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration,4E: SPEED_LIMIT
    3003 FZG_Ausstattung,2B: ANZEIGE_NPI
    3004 ERM_Konfiguration,20: RCOG_TRSG_APPL
    3004 ERM_Konfiguration,20: RCOG_TRSG_TIMOUT
    3008 PIA_Einheiten,10: KI_PIA_SPEED_LIMIT

Thanks Adie. I had missed both the RCOG codings but it hasn't made any difference. What's happening is that until I get off my estate on to a main road , the SLI only shows - - - I am sure the one I had in my 4 series picked up the display on my drive

Does your SLI display straight away?

    Thanks for your help again

Very odd. The seller is bemused too!
It must be my maps (Europe Way 2021-3) which are on Enavevo which I recall is different to yours

NBT-EVO on mine. I agree, as it works ok elsewhere it must be due to the map data

Has anyone fitted one of these to their mini, where their navigation system uses the Europe Way map? Just interested to know if you get the SLI displaying on side roads as well as A/B roads

Hello Adie, big thank you as you are the only one on the good galaxy to have installed sli mod but speak about it !
So I have a few questions that no dealer (ali or even bimmer8) could answer.
So obviously I works on a mini if you have gps original (no kafas).
Where do you connect it ? Behind dashboard cluster or central screen ?(I think cluster). Where lays the module ?
    Did you use F or G cable ? (F?)
Do you see also other recorded (in database) panels than speed ?
About coding, are the codes provided by bimmer8 on this ebay object the same for mini ?
Huuuuge thank you if you can help me, I can't find the i formation after 2 weeks googling time to time for it.
    Happy new year !

    Hi Eric and welcome

I think most of the answers to your questions are contained within the thread.

I installed behind the speedo cluster.
    See post #32 https://www.bmwland.org.uk/index.ph...-and-g-series-bmw-mini.4125/page-2#post-65040

F cable, mine is an F56 (not aware that there's a G series Mini yet)

Not sure what what you're asking here but i can confirm that the only info displayed after connecting the module is the current speed limit

Yes the coding changes were provided by the seller bimmer8
    See post #52 https://www.bmwland.org.uk/index.ph...-and-g-series-bmw-mini.4125/page-3#post-65753

Although their installation video is a BMW it helps to get an understanding of the connections to be made as they're identical to those on the Mini cluster.

Helle Adie and thank you so much for your time. You are right i can see now with tapatalk the entire post.
I had multilpe tries to read it from a browser but page was greyed then to sign in the forum, i did put the name of each pink floyd guy, as captcha, but impossible to sign in.
Finally i did it with tapatalk but it was on my phone and like walking so, my bad, didn't go through all of it.
Now I will, I already had a look on the pics and bimmer codes you gave and it's super clear.

The F or G I was talking about was for bmw, I didn't know there was a link with f from mini's.

The other panels I spoke about are the interdiction to overpass for example, they are shown with kafas at least.

    Thx again.
    Eric
Ps I saw that bimmer8 support replied to some members here with clear answers for mini's. In my case they just said : we can't say it will work on a mini ..
There is also plenty of offers on aliexpress half the price but don't really want to catch fire.
But true that Belgian customs are very very expensive for Taiwan
