How are you bonding with the car?

well l said on the 10th of November 2021 "l will update this thread as l spend more time in the car and explore the way the it behaves handling and comfort wise"

l never did keep the thread updated but thought l had better make one last post on this thread to say the F36 440i grand coupe has been sold and l no longer own the car

l owned the car for just under a year and when l purchased the car it had 4,546 miles on the clock and when l sold it last week it had 9,835 miles on the clock so l put the grand total of 5,289 miles on the car during my ownership.
and 1700 of those miles were done in the two week road trip that l did in September to the north lakes and on up into Scotland and then back down the east coast so in the best part of a years ownership the car only did around 3500 miles in general use so l decided now was the right time to let the car go

l really did enjoy my time in the car but decided because the car was only used for high days and holidays now was the right time to let it go as it was just sitting on the drive costing me money. and as the cost of living crisis gets worse l can see there being a downturn in the market and used values dropping from where the are now so the decision was made and the car has been sold

Understandable decision in the current circumstances. I see Cazoo have got it up for sale.

    What's next then?

We are holding onto our almost 12 year old F11 as even though I am now able to change it I feel that the prices in 6 months will be massively down on those now as the interest rate, energy and cost of living "bite" kicks in.

It was good to enjoy the car while you had it, sounds as those the road trips were good ones. A lovely car for sure.

    Onto the next!

Remember yours had a great spec with Merino leather and adaptive suspension. Makes it a desirable car for those in the know.
