So guys, I think we’ve done this in the past but as I’m sitting here with my 9month old on my lap trying to keep him asleep and from waking everyone else, let me kick things off….

Best Christmas presents from this year:

For me, very simple. My wife gave me an Outin Nano Espresso machine. It’s basically a compact travel Espresso maker. It’s battery powered and will boil the water and extract the coffee - either filter or Nespresso capsule. I’m not a massive coffee snob but I do find it indulgent to have one on the move. A full blown Nespresso machine is the first thing each of my campers/motorhomes received so with the upcoming sale of the van, having something to keep me caffeined up in the car, in a tent or on the side of a mountain is well received.

The kids then got me a Yeti hip flask for a drop of Irish whiskey.

A good haul for me this year! What did you guys get?

Some nice pressies there! I do like my Nespresso machine too, never knew a ‘portable’ one existed!

This was one of mine, I did comment on his artwork featuring a Defender, not a Discovery

Other presents featured the new Apple Watch, a bread maker and a PS5!

Tidy looking coffee machine, definitely worth looking into for my travels.
Got some great vinyl, Bowie, Marvin Gaye, Buckley. Clothes and a nice tot of malt.

I got diddly squat!!! I really did, my wife bought me a weekend break in the Cotswolds to go to the farm (huge clarkson fan) then dinner at the farmers dog.

Added bonus is that the road I will use to get to the farmers dog is the one used by Harry Metcalf and a few of the YouTube “self proclaimed car journalists” outside of burford. Hopefully the car will have had its RIS done beforehand as it will be a couple months old by then.

    I can’t bloomin wait (y)
