    This has been something that has always wound me up and Bennetts, my motorcycle insurance brokers are probably the worst, £30 minimum to change anything and when you consider that my premium is only £85 a year, it's quite a sum. I don't mind paying for a service but I actively try and find insurance companies that have no or minimal 'admin' fees. It may not be illegal but it's a sharp practice and it royally p*%@es me off!

    Heard this on the radio - who'd have thought Insurance Companies would ever overcharge folk? :confused:

    Never had any of this of nfu , and they did a great deal putting the Z3 on cover with no ncd to bring over. Our ncd are used on my X1 and my wife's QQ. Also like being able to phone or pop in and see them face to face. Claims on windscreen (done at main dealer) and house policy paid quickly and absolutely no fuss.

    Helen's X5 insurance is now about half of what it was 3 years ago - like for like policy. Ditto 750. Must be something to do with getting old. Mind you, I have been making more of a habit of shopping around and reading all the small print. Having the time to do this is also probably a sign of aging.

    Never had a problem with A-Plan. Mind you, the only thing that changes are winter to summer wheels/tyres and vice versa.

    @The CO

    £85 premium? Is that for your bicycle? :D

    I thought my £485 premium was good value...
