So wondered if it's worth just going with whatever the dealer fits, or something after market?

Car is an F32 430d M Sport with the Sports brake upgrade (Brembo blue calipers)
Was looking at fitting ebc redstuff pads if it just needs pads, but if it needs discs was thinking maybe something better than standard, which might be cheaper than what the dealers would charge for like for like...

Stumbled across this whilst surfing the interweb, looks like a useful tool as it allows you to input your original tyre specs and pressures and then the specs of the new tyres, it then calculates what the new pressures should be.

Having a clear out and found a spare Pirelli cinturato p7 run flat 245/45/18 taken from one of my f10 520ds. It is star marked.

It has never had a puncture and has plenty of tread left so will make a great “get you out of crap temporarily” tyre.

The date code is 18/15 so eight years old but has been stored in the back of my dry garage so no cracking and the rubber is very good still.

Can anyone recommend a decent runflat for both performance and price so ideally a balance between the 2. I do 25K miles a yr. I normally buy premium brands but was interested to see if any of the middle brands perform just as well.

One photo is a front and one is on the back, however all four have done this. It can't be a bad batch as the front and rear are different sizes.

Due for new tyres on the back is it standard practice to change the metal tpms value stem completely as you do a rubber valve or is this done only if its leaking? As 99% of most tyres garages dont have the kit on the shelf.

Does anyone change them on tyre replacement as a matter of course or not if they are not leaking?

Obviously you would replace them all if having the wheels refurbed.
