I had the roof re-laquered 5 years ago to repair some stone chip damage by Brewster Motors of Billericay following a recommendation on the old board. At the time I was pleased with the results but its failing again - the coating is bubbling up and coming away from the carbon matting.
I had a M3 circa 18 years ago and had to get rid of it for a people carrier, not nice times but needs must. I hit 150 in the old one and was told if you pass 155 in 5th you bypass the limiter, never did it. Not hit that yet just 145 but is are F80 / G80 realy limited?

Hi All

I would have thought this had been covered but I could not find it bar replacements. My F80 has very black / carboned tips. Obviously the previous owner did not care but I has seen a number of M3's and M4's with lovely shinning pipes. Just wondering if there is a way to restore mine. I know some don't care but the car is my pride / joy and took me a lot of hard work to buy it.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, my wife says use some Mr Muscle!!!

Thanks
