Long story short, got given a diagnostic laptop with ISTA on it and ENET cable. Ethernet port stopped working. I have the software now installed on a newer laptop and of course it only has USB C/Thunderbolt 4 ports. So I have tried a ethernet to USB C adapter and its flakey at best, I have a feeling the cable is damaged.
Can anyone recommend a USB C cable or best place to buy a new cable.

Hi
Just wondering, anybody who has done their map updates via usb how long have they normally taken?
I seem to recall they used to be able to be left in then they would just stop when the car was off and resume on the next journey until loaded but mine reset each time. I wouldn’t mind but after over an hour it’s at 12%.
4GC NBT next maps usb in the centre console as no glovebox one on these.

So if I decide to upgrade I was considering a car with laser lights or though they are few and far between. Does anyone have the option and if so what do they think? Having watched several youtube comparisons it would appear that they are not much better than the leds despite the huge cost involved at build. Obviously either would be an upgrade from my active xenons
Thanks
