At 3:41am on Monday morning we had a little "visitor", more appropriately described as a little "scrote". We have a Ring camera on the rear of the house, this picked up the said individual walking across from our neighbour's fence to our rear doors. He tries the handles before he is alerted by the Ring camera light, I suspect he had already tried the patio doors on the rear lounge, the video shows his shadow from the main security light.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get access to this as just a Joe Public?

My car comes out of AUC warranty at the end of the week, so I will be back to doing my own maintenance on it including more frequent oil changes etc. The coffee in the dealership is nice but I can't drink enough of it to justify paying main dealer prices

I'd like to be able to update the onboard service history to reflect the servicing I will be doing.

I keep scuffing the bottom of the steering wheel with the zip on coats etc when I get in the car.

Does anyone recommend a steering wheel cover? I have been looking at the ones you sow on, there are some reasonable looking ones and some god awful looking ones on ebay.

I was looking seriously for an Alpina as felt this could fit the bill for a replacement but few and far between for what I wanted to get.

So deposit paid on a 2007 S63 AMG L. This car is in silver with black leather interior, 61,000 miles on the clock and three owners from new. Pretty excited and have done some restoration work on the SL and it’s pretty enjoyable restoring an older car...

At least I gave myself plenty of time as I am 30 days out. Apparently the sweet spot is 26 days out and prices vary each day up to renewal.

I have two cars on a multi car policy and had an offer of last year’s price from my existing insurer at just over a £1,000 which isn’t bad for an M3 and C63S. This was discounted down by 10% following a quick phone call.

Do they not register on speed camera/ANPR?

Seem to be more common on high end fast cars driven by certain types of boy racers up and down the A40 by the Polish War Memorial, so I assume they must do something with the cameras as it's 40mph average speed and they fly past me.

I have had an idea for the past 6 years to create a website that allows buyers to advertise what car they want, this then allows sellers to look on my site and if their car pops up, they contact the buyer and go from there.

I believe it will work, as rather than sellers going to places like we rob any car and getting low balled, there might be a buyer ready for them on my site.

Do any of you know if the above or similar still exists?

I am looking for a guide on how to remove the rear light clusters on my G26 M440i and I can’t find anything on YouTube or such. The reason for removal is that around the edges there appears to be some muck / gunk / algae that I can see especially after washing and it appears impossible to get at the inside edges without removing the unit.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.]]>
