A good clean for the weeks commute then down to business of cleaning Bella post the Cotswolds run as she was in a sorry state.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[I&#039;ve always had a slight issue with an overly waxed left ear, but it had got worse over the past few years. I ended up seeing a specialist as I had developed a high pitched whine in my left ear, some in my right, but mainly left sided. <br />
She noted that the left ear drum is dull rather than shiny, so I had to have a GP referral for further advice from the ENT department. Had a referral through pretty quick, but the waiting time is between 61-70 weeks. <br />

Back in 2019/20 we had an extension at the rear of the house, this included two French doors that open onto the rear garden/patio area, all very nice. <br />

I&#039;ve had a Merida Scultura road bike for 11 months now, and in general it is an excellent wet weather/winter bike. I had the wheels upgraded to a nice set of Mavic disc rims and tubules tyres at the point of buying. I that a 105 set up with hydraulic discs. <br />
Over the past few rides I have noticed that the squeal from the brakes is getting worse and worse. It has got to the point now where I am actively looking for ways to avoid braking!<br />

During the Easter break in 2024 the good Mrs W and myself are going to Belgium for 4/5 days. We have two nights booked in Bruges, and were initially booked into a hotel in Ghent. However, the hotel in Ghent seems to be a touch over the top in terms of cost, they want 45 euros per night to park the car, on top of the cost of the hotel, even breakfast is over 28 euros per person per day.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[On collecting my G30 from the dealer today after its safety recall and MoT It was mentioned by the service advisor that BMW recommended the bonnet struts were replaced every 2nd brake fluid change as they are part of the pedestrian protection system.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[With Dudley heading away and Eunice rapidly approaching, there are many stories of storm damage. <br />
Thousands of homes without power, trees down etc. I did some fence strengthening a few days ago in preparation, so far so good. <br />

Woke up this morning to find these three pieces of mortar on the drive, under the front door/porch and in between our two cars. Somehow missed both of them! Lucky. Seem to have come from the ridge tiles, will need some attention soon.
