On American E46 they are handily placed on the side of the Value Cover Gasket. Not so on my E46. Perhaps underneath but not had a proper look.

    Anybody know?

    Cheers

Is real oem UK aswell? Are you UK?

This diagram doesn't help me much.

    I'm a bit of a div

It's in a different location to usual Youtube video's. 50skid, Nathan's diy etc..

    Thanks for reply Bryan

Yeah, used to have an E46 330Ci clubsport too, http://www.realoem.com/ covers both UK and US, you have to select your own cars details, engine size, year, right hand or left hand drive.

Think there is slight variations depending on pre/post facelift etc. list below is for the above image, 2004 330Ci

I have looked on there before. It was the diagram that I couldn't make a lot of sense of.

For example, that first image you sent me - is number 2 and 3 in the engine bay?

Maybe you can make more sense of it..Does is look like the connectors are positioned on the injector side? I did actually buy the sensor a year ago when the engine light popped up but it has never come back since but I now want to get a round to putting it on as I am on 128,000 miles on year 2000 (X reg) and I've read they get lazy.

    Thanks

Not to teach you to suck eggs but find the sensor in the exhaust then trace the wire back to its connector. They’re banks 1 (cyl 1-3) and 2 (cyl 4-6) pre and post catalyst.
