Just to add my two penneth.

I also use AG shampoo & conditioner. Plus the AG Express Wax every other wash. Not had a problem with it leaving any residue. Then twice a year AG Detailing Wax applied manually.

I imagine that the AG Express Wax is the professional or trade version of Rapid Aqua Wax - so exactly the same product.

Yes, that's correct @Singvogel .I purchased 5L via Amazon as it was quite a saving on the retail version.

Just a follow up to my earlier post where i said that i thought I'd try ValetPRO Citrus Bling.

I had some 1800 miles worth of road crud and insect debris to remove after our trip back from BiH

So I used ValetPRO SnowFoam followed by Autoglym Shampoo & Conditioner going over the paintwork with a fine natural horsehair brush - no sponges or noodle mitts, but rinsed out frequently in clean water - 2 bucket method.

I then used Autoglym Aqua Wax with a microfibre cloth to dry the car off and another to buff up lightly.

Only then did I go over the entire car including windows - but not windscreen - with the ValetPRO Citrus Bling used full strength.

I'm so impressed with the shine and the beading effect that I've decided I'm not going to do my usual pre-Winter full polish job at the end of the month which I usually do when I switch to Winter tyres.

I spent a couple of days back in April / May polishing and applying several layers of sealant and it seems that the combination of Aqua Wax and Citrus Bling will see me through till next spring.

Here's what it looked like this morning after a shower of rain.

The blurb on the Citrus Bling bottle says it gives protection for 4 weeks - but as I never go more than 2 weeks between washes (less if there is salt being spread on the roads) I reckon that it'll stay protected and looking good through the winter.
