Less time out on the road over the winter months so the big clean starts in earnest. Snowfoam left to do its thing then jet washed off. Autoglym Magma sprayed all over then washed off using a lambs wool mitt dipped in AG Pure Soap shampoo then jet washed off. Washed again using a clean mitt and AG Pure Soap Shampoo. Towel dried then all the shuts blow dried to ensure no drips. A coat of Meguires Ultimate Polish locked in with a coat of AG Ultra High Definition Wax. Tyres, wheels and interior to do next. Super, just super :driving:

Thanks mate. She's a keeper so I do try and keep her in decent shape, moreso as she's an all year round car.

Is there a preferred wax? I used to use a Canuba wax that was very easy to use.

All very subjective as are most topics on cleaning products. I use Autoglym High Definition Wax and it works well for me, that's not to say that other similar products work well.

if you ask a dozen people you would probably get a dozen different answers to that question. the Autoglym HD wax that @Nuclear has used is a very good wax that contains Carnauba

l don't use wax on the BMW as they are normally ceramic coated. but l do use wax on the ford focus shitbox edition and for that l use Bilt Hamber double speed wax at sub £15.00 a tin it is a good carnuba based wax that offers great durability and very good value for money. the only downside to the double speed wax is it can be a little grabby when you are buffing it off but l have never had a problem with it

I suspect it's more a case of 'fat fingers' syndrome? :scratchchin:

you do look to have access to a good indoor space so a lot of work can be done inside which must be a god send in the winter (y)

Yeah, I have a converted barn which allows me to have both doors wide open and still do a 360° walk round.
