Yep that seems to be the case.

Wish me luck in it being relatively "pain" free haha

How many miles has yours done? If it’s less than 60k it will be significantly cheaper than if it had done more than that.

You can go and check online for a quote from BMW warranty to get an idea of what you will be paying for it

    Cheers

I've got 52k on the clock

And I have tried to get an online quote but comes up with we are unable to provide a quote on this car

Unless I'm being thick which is possible :rofll:

That’s probably because there is already one on it currently I would assume.

Mileage sounds good for the cheaper rate if there is such a thing with an M6!

I had a play with someone else's reg from the internet came in around 156 a month

Not the end of the world

For a giggle I put the mileage at over 100k how does £450 a month sound :wobble:

£156 a month is not too bad to be fair. I’ve had about £7,000 worth of warranty work done on mine so far. Had my oil cooler replaced at the last service which is a relatively common item to fail. Warranty is worth it on my opinion with the European recovery included

    Cheers

Totally agree I always said I wouldn't own one without the warranty and I'll stick to that.

I can't stop looking at my car so couldn't bear something terrible happening and it putting a difficult decision my way!

    Agree!

Almost the same amount I'm paying for both our cars

That is a proper result, I was paying £87 per month for my old 2015 535d up to July 2019.

What excess have you gone for? I have £100 excess, pay mine annually and I think my F10 M5 works out more (will have to check) :?

F10’s seem more expensive for extended warranty. However, stories of engine failures and I know of someone who is on second replacement engine under warranty. More complicated and expensive car than the V10’s and most of the V10 stuff is out of warranty in comparison i guess

I went for 250 in terms of excess, lower monthly payment and given the few miles I'll probably do in the car I seemed it the best compromise

I do the £250 excess and just make sure each claim is worth it and try and do more than one fault at the same time

Need some more pictures as well

    Cheers

That explains the relative cheapness of it then

My warranty has increased to £93.88 a month as of this month. Still good value for what I have already had out of it so far.

    Cheers
