The weather was fine, son took Mum out for Dinner at my expense, so made a start to the ritual, knowing one day wouldn’t be enough, I set my target!

It’s looking like a three day event then another day inside.....

    Day 1 - Today
Boot, Bumper, roof and Passenger side.

An early start with a brisk Snow foam
    Followed by a body wash.
De tar using Gyeon Q2M Tar
    Body wash & dry
De Iron using Gyeon Q2M Iron
    Body wash & dry
    Clay using Bilt hamber Soft
    Body wash & dry
Das 6 pro, 3-1/2” & 6” Schol concept Purple pad
    Scholl S20 Black
    Body wash & dry
Collinite Marque de Elegance, buffed to shine!

Lack of light means no pictures, sorry! and had to stop due to cooling temps......
I’m guessing, gone are the days of doing it all on the day! Here’s hoping the weather holds up tomorrow!

    Well done!
I swapped the winters to summers. Promised the wife I would be an hour ........ 3 hours later, both sets washed, waxed the winters, dressed the summers .... Then it pished it down

That's the problem, to do the car properly takes at least a day. I usually only have a few hours which means I can only really, foam, wash and dry. No point waxing the car as it needs a good claying. To do a proper machine polish, wax and seal would be done on the 2nd day.

@a.s.uk your garage might come in handy for that (y)

You really need 3 days at least to do it properly. Of course it can be done in stages over a period of time but that makes for even more work , more washing , and more drying , a good run at it over a few days is ideal.

I washed mine today but my Karcher would not feed the shampoo through the system for some reason, no bother I just used snow foam and then the heavens opened. I did manage a quick hoover and feed/clean the leather though.

I admire your dedication and the hard work that you have already put in (y)

Mine is due a spring clean and it is going to the detailers next week to be done so i am taking the lazy option, wont need polishing because of the ceramic so just a deep clean and then top up with reload
