Hideous winds for the last 24 hours, had seen loads of pictures of cars with trees etc damaging them.
Woke up this morning, looked out of the bedroom window and saw that two of the wheelie bins and blown over, looked like they had bounced off the car. Noooo.....

Went down for a closer look, unbelievably not a mark on the car. Phew!

No idea how it blew over and managed to not hit the car. Maybe time to buy a lottery ticket.

Similar winds everywhere. I have learnt by previous experience and had moved the bins round the back of the house. The guy sorting out the patio lost his little measuring bucket. Somebody in the village has got free bee.

Lucky boy!! Now.... about that bird dropping...:whistling:.

Very neat numbering on that bin, although if it's yours we'd expect nothing else. :D

It’s an errant wet leaf rather than bird mess, would have had the wipes on that ASAP otherwise.
Bin numbering is a must, they go walkabout otherwise.

That's lucky! I wasn't so fortunate a few months back when it was windy. Was just about to secure the bins when one blew over and dented the passenger door  Haven't got it fixed yet but there's no actual paint damage so might be able to get a paintless dent removal done.

How did it miss? Lethal things in full flight. Maybe time to relocate the wheelie bins to a safer place. :)
