Sounds like you were planning # 69.....

I've seen threads going off topic before, but this must rank as one of the best/worst [delete as appropriate :sneaky:] departures ever.....:D

It was supposed to be about the car and any updates in terms of maintenance and road trips.
@The CO - could we take out all the off topic posts (as funny as they are/were :beers:)

Last weekend, the good lady P spotted a blemish on the rear bumper. It turns out to be a defect underneath the lacquer. Took it back to the dealer who tried a DA on it,but no joy. Offered to have the bumper resprayed.
So glad i went with a reputable dealer that puts the customer first.
Feels so weird not to see it on the driveway. Back Friday morning #sunshine #weekend

Collected the car today, and happy to report the paintwork is now perfect.
Was meeting friends for dinner, and there was only one marque in the running.
By the time deserts & coffee were being served, it was dark.
I said my goodbyes and headed towards my motoring mistress. This would be our first night time sortie.
The boxster burbled into life, and the xenons switched on - wow! Bright and with a cooler blue light being emitted than the BMW xenons. The adaptive is always on,so unlike the X3 there is no button to push.

The first couple of miles was in town, the outside temp readout displayed 14.5C , so it was time to put the roof down. The next few junctions attracted admiring glances from my traffic light neighbours. At the last junction out of town, the sport button was pressed and we were away into country lanes. The throttle response and exhaust notes changes. Turned the radio off to listen to the sweet notes being emitted by the engine and exhaust. It was magical. I always enjoyed driving on warm nights in the X3, but this was truly amazing. I finally GET IT!!!

you should be fine for the winter too....in a small sports convertible....
you'll get enough heat from the heater and with the small enclosure, you shouldn't get too much wind buffeting....unlike in a 4 seater convertible..

I find only the very top of my head (which thankfully still has a full weave) is buffeted, but other than that it's a very comfortable place to me. Side windows up and wind deflector behind me help a great deal. Haven't needed the heated seats yet, but sure they will come into their own soon enough.

tend to be converged systems with servers switches and a storage array these days. You can't access the logs seperatley as the hardware is tied in by the custom OS.
