Very nice and muscular flanks & ar5e!
Though I can see it getting bullied in the car parks & having its windows and headlights broken for dawning a goofy facial expression
It’s almost crying out to be picked on, though like every other incarnation, in time it becomes the norm and we’ll all be drooling over the front ends!

I’m going to say this and then sit back and prepare for the flack.....

.........I quite like them. Growing on me. Haven’t seen one in real life yet, and imagine the colour will be a big influence on the look.

I actually think that if the rest of it looks muscular enough the M3 Touring will be a winner.

Aficionados will buy them , although they may wait a year or two until the price has become 'affordable'.

Some BMW owners won't even consider test driving another marque, because they lack 'the Roundel'. :whistling:

I saw the pictures of it on Pistonheads yesterday.. I must admit I quite like it especially the M4 and the hopefully the M3 Touring. A lot has been made of the grill but then almost every other manufacturers grills seem to have been supersized on their latest designs. This grill is certainly better than the one on the latest 7 series and X7 or indeed any of the latest Audi's..

Can’t configure an M car on the website yet, so did an M440i. I’ve not gone mad on the spec at all, just the expected stuff. Already at £59K!

I like it (and I am no afficionado or fan boy)..... I specced one to £76k plus £2500 for the Touring, which is steep - but with a 20% discount would be acceptable ish....

But just not sure a raw racy car for the road is what I need right now, so will get back to looking at Volvo hybrids and Jag coupes and convertibles (secondhand in the name of common sense too...)

    Bargain.

    £66k come January 2021.

Or get yourself a real bargain and shop Europe. Again just a few extras (16k ouch), to arrive at 87,875€ - which at today's exchange rate is approximately £80,400.

This is a much debated topic in the office

It splits opinions that's for sure. I wasn't a fan at first, but the more I see, the better it gets

Will need to be careful not to damage that jutty out backside when loading the boot...
