I received this video of the new X2. I'm not in the market for an SUV myself but thought others might be interested.
It looks quite nice and compact for a X series. Not too sure about the roundels on the rear side panels - IMO they detract from the smooth lines of the body.
One on the front and the rear is sufficient, I think.

Not sure that colour does it any favours.

I quite like the X2 external styling but reckon the new 2018 A Class is a better place to sit... sorry

Overall I quite like it. Agree about the Roundels on the rear panels though , they look totally unnecessary to me and OTT .

Not that many switches on the new A Class due out soon, they use a touch controller

Agree, don't think it does. Also not a fan of those wheels, they look to me like an inappropriate mod.

I do like the car's body shape and its practical potential.

Love the colour, love the wheels, don’t like the interior. Looks like a future purchase though, depending on rear leg room though. But it would have to have a 6 cylinder engine, which it doesn’t at present.

The X2 is a good looking crossover, but hybrids in any walk of life are generally regarded as jack of all, master of none, and so it is with this vehicle type.
If you want an SUV, then buy an SUV
if you want a luxury sedan than buy a 5 or 7 etc

I think the roundels on the sides look complete crap.

My Mum has a 2014 A45 AMG which is a wicked car, the new A class looks really good as well!

    cheers

I see what you mean but some people want a luxury SUV (I wouldn't mind one)... :)

No. I just think the sheer number of BMW vehicles is astounding. I get the 3,5,7 were the staple of the marque. Then came the X5 and 1 series. Now we have a vehicle for every hour of the week, and it seams to be the way of the world now. Mercedes and Audi do exactly the same thing, but where does it end

The x2 does look interesting, though they are kicking the Ar.. out the market! I’m sure the x4 has not been the success as planned and there’s too many models that all look too similar, whilst I love the masculine lines of the x6, I don’t think any of the inbetween even numbers models have succeeded, though all do look good!

    I’m quietly under a stone!
Working in Whitby, due to company policy we arrive by driver and Thou shall not drive!
(Hard to think we can run a £5million pump unit, but dare we drive a £20k rental)
Currently the said driver has a new style E220, it’s really nice inside / upfront, though rear leg room is said to be crap! Rides really nice over the ruts & pot holes with a perky 4 cylinder derv! It appears Very composed!
Perhaps MB are finally moving with the times and upping the game! Though for me, Merc & Audi are moving with the times where Bm appears to be sticking with a used and proven design & sharing across the model range!

Sat in one today. Couldn’t really work it out TBH.

Looked absolutely rubbish with the roundals on the C pillars and the inside was small. Clearly based on the 2-series, which is fine, but certainly elements of it look decidedly cheap. Didn’t catch a look at the price given there was far more interesting bits of metal in the showroom. But safe to say, I was not a fan.

    I think I would prefer the new X3 4.0i, that’s a proper engine.
