I'm going to fit a splitter probably an M Performance variety to my car. I wont be going to the expence of buying a OEM version because I've got a feeling these things have the life expectancy of a WW1 fighter pilot! The question I have is that the OEM vwrsion seems to come with a support panel that strengthens the bottom of the bumper where as the cheaper versions dont have this. Is it that necessary? Are the cheap versions a viable option? Any advice you could give me would be most appreciated Guys.

This is the one on my wife’s M3.

It does finish the front nicely but is an overpriced carbon fibre MP version.

Hi. You do have to take is slowly over speed bumps so as not to bounce on the suspension and ground, but mostly it’s ok.
