    Adding to an old thread here but I’ve just come out of a 2 year stint with an i8, frankly just and incredible car!
    Supercar looks, near performance and negligible running costs.. utopia?
    Worry about the current battery longevity made me bale in the end ...

    i8's are now looking like a used car bargain especially for it's looks, performance and usability.

    How long do BMW guarantee the batteries for?

    Beaten to it but yes 8 years, my i8 was 5 years so still a decent life left. It’s up for sale at Sytner Solihull for 47k, stunning car
