Excellent indy in Lincoln

I have been using Bathurst Motors on Monks Road, Lincoln for over 20 years. They are a family run business. They came to my attention by word of mouth from a work colleague. I have also mentioned by word of mouth to other work colleagues and family members / freinds and many of them also use the same garage. In my experience and also others who use them, they have been excellent as shown in my recent dealing with them (see thread below).

They are very fair when it comes to MOT time too. Many times they have mentioned advisories, but passed the car and said that they'd look at them next year. They only do the work that is required and do not "invent" work, which is something that you cannot say for some of the main dealers / quickfit outfits. They never do extra work without clearing it with you first, even if it is obvious that it has to be done. Their labour rates are very reasonable too. It should be mentioned though that they only take on repair work that does not require specialist knowledge or large amounts of effort (e.g. full engine rebuilds / engine changes). Basically, if it needs the engine removing, then they will not be interested in taking that on.
