Hello Dave, thanks for the offer - that's quite a collection you have. The Ultra HD Wax should last me a few years, so I'm a bit loathe to start a collection. Which would you consider to be the best wax? There are so many to choose from on the market.

But I shall be treating your Turbine wheels to a couple of coats of Poor Boys Wheel Sealant, before I fit them ready for the winter months. (y)

    Cheers, Mike

Best wax million dollar question..Lol. I have used a fare few. My personal preference are Def wax pro and Ostendo great for winter and summer wax very easy to use and last a a good while when prep right. Then again BMD great waxes Morpheus and Sirius easy to use. Mitchell and king love Armour for the winter. Anglewax Enigma, The Fifth Element all great waxes. Again personal preference. Autoglym HD wax was my first and is a great wax this is how it all started. If you want to try a different wax in the Summer give me a shout. Dave

    Will do - thanks, Dave
I know that once I start, I would eventually have the shelves full of tins of wax and other detailing products.
I'm sure others on here have extensive collections.

So how do you rate ceramic coating compared to a good carnauba wax? Obviously ceramic is less work and easier maintenance. :?

I rate it very highly. Its harder wearing and resistant to scratching, it makes cleaning easier, it is applied once a year, and it leaves a cracking finish. If for any reason it starts to drop away it can be topped up with a quick spray and buff session.
