I'm getting the above noises from the pano roof area when on bumpy roads. Everything works as it should, wondering if some lubrication is needed somewhere. Not happening continuously, just now and again.

When I was having problems with my door seals creaking, I purchased this from a German Ebay seller. It's a special low friction lubricant by Dupont that VW use on their roof seals. I never actually used it on my seals as the dealer replaced them all under warranty, but I have used it elsewhere and it solved the issue (not related to my car). It is quite expensive and you only get a small amount (20 gr) but it goes a long way. It may be worth trying if all else fails.

I was going to jump in and make the same suggestions as the second post in Gunrunners post, thought better and opened the link!

On previous 5Gt I used to get a lot of noise from this area, initially it’s worth pulling down at the back and placing a rag their to ensure it’s where the noise is from.. thereafter I affixed x2 foam strips on either side with double sided Velcro tape! Which worked well!

Thanks for the replies, I've stuck some foam up there, will see tomorrow if it's done anything.

It hasn't totally cured it but it's considerably better. I pulled down the rear edge of the divider that goes across in the middle, and stuck the 3 bits of sticky backed foam to it. I'll now make a proper job of it.

Made a better job, using what I had to hand, though still room for improvement, and it has completely stopped the noises.
