Hi @The CO I've very recently noticed that I can't type properly on the site when using Chrome on Android. I also have the exact same problem on another site using the same forum software (Xenbase?). It's only started happening on here in the last couple of days though. The issue is when choosing a suggested word after typing the first couple of letters. It appears that the cursor goes back to the start of the word and instead of then replacing the typed letters with the chosen word it appends the typed letters at the end. So instead of typing 'ha' and then choosing 'had' it becomes 'hadha'. Typing 'al' and choosing 'along' becomes 'aloal' as seen in the example below. "I hadha glog plug fault aloal with the glowgcontrol modumo giving errors." It makes it very long winded and a rigmarole to type on my phone.
It appears this bug has already been reported: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=806309 and that it's something to do with RichTextEditors being iframe contenteditable rather than div contenteditable (I don't really understand what this means) There is a test page on Xenforo here: https://xenforo.com/bugs/android-rte-autocomplete-bug.html Is it possible to change from one type of editor to the other?
I'll keep an eye out but it looks like something beyond me I'm afraid, particularly if it's been reported already.
