Carbon black 99 M5 stolen - Amsterdam

My good friends classic M5 has been nicked from his underground carpark in the Dam. Reward for information. If any of our members are on the flipside there, please can you keep your eyes peeled.

Had been tampered with earlier this week and now stolen last night. 173KM on the clock - Reg JP-602-P

 

Sadly, it's probably been broken down for parts.

 

if its still a car and in UK its bound to be on the plates form the car it replaced.
Is there anything usual about the car that's different to standard.
Believe me I can spot any M even if a mile ahead or behind.

 

It ll be in parts , in a container on it s way to another country , or already in another country . Very sad to hear , very hard to trace too as it s obviously been stolen by Pro s . If it was Joyriders at least it might turn up somewhere , albeit possibly not as it was , either way , not a nice scenario for your friend , hope it turns out ok .

 

Is that because you are normally chasing them down Rich in the new Porsche...??

 

@Ninjagirl , in what way was the car tampered with? Did the thieves 'prepare' the theft or was it an earlier attempt?

Is there any CCTV material? You'd think there would be in a car park like that.

I'm in Amsterdam regularly but not atm I'm afraid. Have shared this thread with a couple of friends over there....

 

THanks @Merc? No. BM! he went to start it on weds morning and the car wouldn't start- when he opened the bonnet some key parts had been taken. Clearly they came back the next night and took the car

 

Presumably they knew how to circumvent the bonnet alarm switch?

 

Or trying to keep ahead
