Has anyone had any issues once they’ve had their car back regarding dead battery’s?
Just a thought that if cars are stood for so long and the battery’s die will that have a detrimental effect on the longevity of it in the future?

Good point. It certainly will not do the battery any good, especially if it is only partially charged when the car goes into storage. Only time will tell.

And as most dealerships will be storing cars outdoors in the wind, rain, and snow, the brake discs will be nice and rusty when they are returned. :(

While I agree is it really much different to buying a used car or even a 'new car' that has been sat in a compound for weeks?.. I don't see a load of battery conditioners linked up to cars on any dealer forecourts.

Just said farewell to my car, sob. Partridge Hampshire have their claws on it and I expect for the foreseeable future as I got confirmation I need a replacement EGR. Enterprise rental car on its way. I know I’m a bit fussy, but taking a leap of faith they will look after my car (I guess I have had too many bad experiences to be trustful).
