thought i would be the first to post in here, last september i did the alps tour with a company called fantastic roads, never done one before, we left on the saturday morning crossed on the euro tunnel and across france, first stop was riems the old gp circuit, then onto my first stop chateau sainte sabine, up the next morning and onto the next hotel le cottage bise, then the next day onto the next hotel notre maison, then onto alpenhof in oberwald, then we went to alpenhotel quadratscha in st. moritz for 2 nights, then onto hotel cuntera in mutschnengia for the night, then to les bas rupts in gerardmer for the last night before we went back to calais and home. we did a lot of alpine passes, the gd-st-bernard and the gran s. bernardo, the furka, the grimsel, the splugen pass, the bernina pass, the stelvio, the maloja pass, the julier pass, the albula pass, the gothard pass we covered over 1900 miles on some very nice ( and some not so nice ) roads in a few days, looking forward to this year and the pyrannies drive, a lot of driving again but that's what a 760L is for. i would say if you like driving your car you should do one of these tours, you get to meet some nice people who are car nuts as well. i for one would never had found half of the roads we drove on as with a sat-nav you would go from point to point and not see the winding back roads.
Welcome to the Land @metelmickey (seem to remember that name...) and thanks for sharing your Alps tour experience in your 760L. Any pics?
Loving the pictures mate. Can you post a link to the company that hosts this tour. Those Porsches look great!
they are on my nas box ( with about 50 more ) can't upload them as they are in 4k, i do have a program that can shrink them but i don't know how, so i can see them on my 55" telly. the company is called "fantastic roads" the pyrenees tour is not been dated yet but is in september.
