The 2018-2 map update is now available from the Connected Drive website.
Just checked - again - the Download Manager is still offering me only the 2018 -1 version.
That's strange - I downloaded the 2018-2 update this afternoon, but not uploaded it to the car yet.
Just checked mine and "Road Map Europe EVO 2018-2" is now available for my car, i'm downloading it now... Has anyone installed it yet? does it have the glitches/issues 2018-1 did?
mine is also offering 2018-2 updates so i will have to get on it asap as i didnt bother with 2018-1 as it was meant to be causing glitches

Are your remote services still working?
I'm pleased to report they are indeed. Last used at the weekend, both to ventilate the car and to send a new location to it.
@Singvogel it may be because your Business satnav version hasn't been released just yet. Mine was for the Pro screen satnav.
Hopefully you'll get it in the next few days.
I paid for two updates a few months ago. Upgraded to 2018-1.
Do you have to download them consecutively? In other words, can you skip one without costing extra?
Sadly mine aren't. The Connected Drive team have escalated to Germany. No idea how long that will take
I've been having problems login into BMW login. "User name and/or password invalid or not available. Please check your entry." However, I have saved my details and not changed them, so not sure why I get this message.
Is that the same thing?
I had the same thing for a couple of days last week and assumed it was part of the problem I was having, however when I notified the Connected Drive team they said they had server issues, see quote
"Thanks for getting back in touch about your Remote Services.
I would first like to confirm that yesterday 04 July 2018, we were experiencing a technical fault with our ConnectedDrive Portal. This was preventing customers from logging on, this has now been corrected."
My login is now okay again. Have you tried it recently?
I've been called worse...
But yes, I have tried it last night. Last time before that was about a month ago. Will contact them (again) soon.
I must say, last time I spoke to them about my Connected Drive they didn't seem very knowledgeable, which wasn't very helpful, obviously.

Yes I got the impression that if the problem wasn't on the crib sheet, they were stuffed. But as they are a paid for service, I am not prepared to wait for long before kicking off LOL
Just checked my car, still showing 2018-1. Not bothered with updating that version, will wait until 2018-2 is available.
From memory of other update discussions, we don't all get the upgrade together.
is 2018-2 all working ok? no issues like with 2018-1 of it being slow loading, slow navigation, slow speech, sometimes after your required turning?
