It’s been a long drawn out 5 weeks of a 7 week wait!
No confirmed delivery date other than “April delivery” however with the first week nearly behind us,
It surely can’t be long now!
Reading up on several forum pages I’m learning loads of new words and getting generally excited!
    Surely, not long now!

The Merc is now knocking over the two year mark!

Lockdown has had me all over the local hills, trails and mountains,
With the option of coming out of lockdown so near I thought what better way to mark the occasion than start bagging Munro’s

The Ev is pedal power and ridiculously in short supply as demand remains high with 2021 models all but sold out, it appears I’ve secured the last of the 2021’s
The Heckler Mx in S Kit, won me over, though admittedly as delivery day gets closer I’m having doubts, perhaps I should have gone full fat and went with the Bullit!
Delivery to be further delayed due to Invisi frame fitment, I’m getting very restless waiting!

Love this! Let me know how you get on with it. I’ve had my 5010c for a few years now. Aside
from an EV it’s the only bike I’ll ever need IMO. Whilst Santa Cruz are expensive, the build quality and ride are phenomenal.

    Enjoy!

Things spiralled out of control quickly, I specced and priced a 5010c, then a Nomad, swallowed the price, before I knew it I was testing a Heckler with EP800 motor, showed restraint until I borrowed a Trek Rail 9, on the way home I was granted permission and have been left in-waiting since!

    Ah, a new bike. Congratulations!

When I read your post, I did wonder how you could possibly get excited about getting an electric car. :D

Sounds like a great machine. Will be interested to hear how you get on with it.
My lock indie bike shop is doing a roaring trade on the Merida, Nukeproof and Yeti versions of these. Some eye watering prices, but I suppose the tech and development on these is significant.

Sticking to the TCR road bike for now.

Things spiralled out of control with this one !
Santa Cruz having major supply issues, has me in quite a predicament…..
I ended up cancelling the Heckler due to my impatience and bought a Bullit In the thinking it’s soon to arrive…. Yippee!
Anyway that was back in April and still no bike.
More than annoyed, I’m left with many pictures an emptier bank account and left pining for delivery that’s put back to September, now looking at alternatives and getting no where… do I need help or patience :hump: 2CE3B6B0-0A13-4517-8B90-7663239B4C70.jpeg

Maybe have a chat with my local bike shop? Not sure they stock what you are looking for, mainly Merida/Giant and Yeti, but a great place and excellent folk to deal with.

My search started with the Merida eOne-Sixty 9000, since looked at Whyte E180 Rs, Focus Jam2 & many incarnations of Specialised Levo & Kenevo.
Really is as frustrating as car buying, but with less stock around!

I bought my Merida (now my winter road bike) from them back in 2018. Really good shop to buy from, have arrived both bikes with them ever since.
Stock has been the big issue since Covid and leaving the EU, double whammy. Although he did say that things were starting to pick up again on the supply chain, so you might get some joy soon.

lets hope it is a fun weekend and not a dirty weekend as that would really upset the wife

you have just got to love Schwalbe tyres and if the wife starts to get jealous about you going out wth the girls all the time you could swap them for a Nobby Nic and a Dirty Dan
