Going to be interesting to see how it turns out and how popular it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sound a great. Two minor issues, one being the grill and the other being me being slightly short of the purchase price. I’ve got 10% ready....
I was going to give @Adie a "Like" for to above post until I saw those grills. How on earth could they do that to an M3. @The CO was always wishing for an M3 Touring but I doubt he would be too enthusiastic about that example.
Looks like the M Division are still learning things from Alpina. Could be tempting. Compared to the front of the facelift Seven, those grills look rather diminutive and fetching. I thought the Four was getting the Audi treatment and the Three was staying closer to the previous grills?
I thought the new 3 grill was just fine but if they slap an M4 grill on it, that would be tough love. Good to see you back Harry, we were getting a bit worried about you. Hope all is well?
After just being hit with a £2200 bill for the RRS on a non-warrantied item it may be sooner than I think.
Ouch...!!! You will learn at some stage that owning the LR ( sorry RR) is just NOT worth it...non warranted...?? What’s that then? I really feel for for you... but take comfort in the fact that you are not alone... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Despite the horrendous bill (I'm still waiting to see if LR will stump up some goodwill) I actually really like it. It's been faultless for the last 12 months and has done everything I ask of it. I'd be quite happy to get back into a BMW if the styling hadn't gone off the rails. So many tales of woe. Still, I went into LR ownership with my eyes wide open and all that.
They are soooo tempting.... but just too many horror stories for me.... from all of the range... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Exhaust Pressure Control Valve. Anything to do with the exhaust system is not covered under the Extended Warranty scheme. I argued the toss with the dealership and they agreed to lobby LR for some goodwill. Even my indy can't do much as it's a sizeable chunk of the system apparently.
They are lovely things to waft around in but yes, you're always on the lookout for the next thing to go wrong!
Well In all my born years...( egr valve aside ... bmw btw.. warranty covered..) If there is one thing on a modern car that you don’t hear too much about it’s exhausts.... and yet even Land Rover can’t get that right... I’m lost... £2200... my mates disco 2018 plate was off the road for 2 months because the front window leaked... they even admitted using the wrong sealant... and couldn’t get the right stuff ..!! Absolutely shambolic.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anyway, as for the M3 Touring if it had come out a couple of years ago I'd be an absolute yes. Now not so much, I'm a bit of convert to the SUV brigade but never say never.
