Yes indeed so happy car is fine now did a check for engine oil level is exactly on MAX which is good and car done 7k since last oil change so its not burning any oil is it better to change oil every 10k on these or like idrive says 14-15k

Ultimately, it’s personal preference, oil & Engine technology has moved on dramatically, I’d almost say, unless it’s very highly tuned and driven hard, run the mileage between changes
There is an option to analyse oil rather than unnecessary change, possibly more cost effective than too frequent changes
At work, for obvious cost benefits, we changed to miller Longlife, where we used to change oil and filters every 6 month / 240hours, now we monitor condition, which has dramatically increased intervals between changes
The same service is available to public

You have had a lucky escape, but I would be very careful about fitting lowering springs. Maybe next time the garage won’t be so accommodating if you have been tinkering with the suspension.
Is there an option to fit BMW M Performance springs that would be covered under warranty?

Oh, and do not fit spacers as they will negate any warranty claims for wheel bearings and possibly the drive train.

Then I will not bother and guide my self as idrive says or maybe look into the analyse as you mentioned

I think there are some springs that bmw approves but I need to find out which that would be the best answer

Yeah, but unless you get that in writing I wouldn’t believe a word of it.

I fitted 21” wheels to my old 5GT and when the rear suspension collapsed they tried to blame the wheels. When I pointed out that they were BMW wheels and 21” was an option from the factory they backed down. Trust me, they will use any excuse.

New Update: gloss black grilles+ crash bar wrapped white+lowered+ spacers + splitter kit but side skirts dont fit that well this had different side skirts than 118d so its not perfectly aligned but for now is ok next is not sure either get these wheels done black ??? Or buy 436m or some other wheels ? Then exhaust mod coming backbox delete + mid box delete hopefully I can achieve cracks on undershift ?

    Looking good.
I’ve been looking at the gloss black grills for my E92, fits the shadow line trim for the rest of the car.
Have you done any engine work? Mapping etc.

I’m not always a fan of black grilles, but I must say, @Patrico777 , for some reason it looks really good on your car. (y)
