Citrus wash is ok, but their foam is a bit pants. Mines still on the shelf. I went back to using BH. But these days I apply with a pressure bottle rather than a jet lance. Having coatings on my last 2 cars i found the foam just slide off before it could do much. Will have another go with the lance soon and also maybe try Gtechniq again now i dont have a ceramic coating. As John says, you wont get a fully cleaned car from foam and jetting. Its just to take off heavy deposits before your touch the car. I have given cars a quick foam and left it at that in winter if theres no chance or point or a full wash
I have a lovely garage that fits 2 cars side by side... my wife’s 640d and my sons car... It doesn’t keep them any cleaner... they’re both as dirty as each other..it just means they last longer between washes..if you get my drift..? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sean works offshore and is away for three weeks at a time so the car just sits out in the harsh seaside environment hence the comment about getting the car under cover
Autobrite Superfoam for the family work horse X5 and Bilthamber for the MINI. Pictures don’t really do the stuff much justice, but I think it definitely helps break the muck down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
I ran out of Snow Foam early December when I was prepping the F33 for winter . I just used a 50/50 mix of Autosmart G101 in the Foam Lance instead and it was surprisingly just as good . Will probably get Valet Pro next though as I ve yet to try it .
The Autosmart G101 works well to clean but will strip any wax from the car....I user it when I want to remove everything prior to re-sealing.
Yes , that s what I was doing anyway , as I wanted to put on a couple of fresh coats of Collinite 915 Marque De Elegance for winter . Like you , I always use a strong solution of G101 to strip everything off .
