Funnily enough, I’m currently in the South of France and my Uncle’s new 530d Touring is making a very good case for itself. It’s so spacious compared with the Macan. It’s not an issue currently with just the two of us and my six year old, but bring another couple of babies into the mix and I can see the Macan being traded for something bigger.

Although my working theory currently is either keep the Macan as a run around and buy a 540i Touring for long family trips. Or trade the Macan for a Cayenne S and get a 3er Touring for the run around.

At least it’s not a decision we have to make yet. The Macan is going great guns and no desire to change even though we’re now nearly 12months in.

@The CO - pleased to hear the RR is behaving and you’re enjoying the trip. Let’s hope this is a watershed in terms of being happier and content with the car and it behaving itself such that you don’t need to consider trading it. Safe travels!

Not sure extra kids will be here by 6 months (unless he knows something he is not telling...) but my guess is all of that other stuff by next spring.....

@Spuffington you've had the Macan nearly 12 months? That must surely be a record. :D

Reading between the lines - do I detect a change is imminent? :driving: :hehe:

He can be forgiven the 12 month overall time span... he only drives it 12 days a month..(wasn’t it?) so technically it’s only about 4 months old...

Need to update this thread at some point but in the meantime a bit of fun in some water (suffice to say that I've still got the car):

If that's your idea of washing a car.....:omg:  I was expecting a door to open to let the water out. :D

I'd never do that to a car, even an old jalopy like mine.

Wanst it 20 seconds ago we were all looking for a larger child carrier to replace the top small Macan...
Then we were told to forget that because it had Been decided that the Macan, the best car ever in the world, was actually deemed large and good enough to carry said child and its belongings.....
Are we now to believe that this might actually not be the case..?
    I am confused..
