Hi guys, sorry i've been quiet, but illnesses do that, any way, i wasooking at ways to make the wing mirrors retract on leaving the car and vica versa, well after being told Carly for BMW was the best (mainly by carly) it turns out from my checking, that its not possible. Now am i doing something wrong, (quite possible in my state..) or has anyone with a 2008 E93 or similar managed it. Thanks

Should be a switch on the armrest of drivers door adjacent to left right mirror adjuster If so the coding should be possible If I hold the key lock function, windows and pano roof closes, doors lock then mirrors fold With Carly I coded the last function Then when I unlock, the mirrors unfold and doors open If I hold the key unlock function, doors unlock, mirrors unfold and windows drop Looking up Carly for your model, under the mirrors menu http://support.mycarly.com/knowledge-base/code-bmw-what-is-possible/
Hi, yeah, i saw that at carly and that list is a general "what if" list, i dowloaded the trial version and in it you can see if any particular function is possible for THAT car, this is where it said non possible, so i'm still in the dark ps mines a conv and holding the fob button doesn't fold them in (they are foldable)

In the depth of the Carly pages, this time can be reduced to fold immediately on door lock I’m sure if you have the button to fold the mirrors the function exists to code from the key fob..... It’s just finding the module to switch on!
When you say foldable do you mean they fold electrically? I. E pressing the button on the switch cluster on the door?

Hold the Lock button on your key fob until the mirrors fold and any open windows close. Press the unlock when mirrors will unfold, and if continue to hold will open all windows. Simples.
I think the following option has to be spec'ed. (On my F30 2015 model) 430 INT/EXT RR VW MIRROR W AUT ANTI-DAZZLE 431 INTERIOR RR VW MIRROR W AUT ANTI-D
I know how the mirrors work, I'm just trying to clarify if zxrichie has the power folding mirrors or not. He hasn't answered the question re the button on the drivers switch cluster. If the relevant button is there then power folding mirrors would be present, in which case they can be coded to work off the fob.
I did it on my 2007 e61. If you don’t have the full version it won’t code anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
