That s a real pity it has nt arrived . But at least the Ebay guarantee covers you and you re not out of pocket permanently, still very annoying though .

I contacted EBay Resolution Centre yesterday and they refunded the money within an hour. This seller has scammed buyers for around £8k within the last month. I doubt whether EBay will get any of that back as the money will be long gone - probably abroad. It's good to know that EBay has guarantees in place for buyers though. ;)

good to hear you got your money back, I have only ever had one problem with an item not received and it was before they had the present buyer protection in place, I bought a limited edition Disney animation art cel and paid about £180.00 for it and it never arrived and when i went to E bay they said nothing we can do and paypal said the same, so i went to Barclaycard and they refunded be and went after E Bay for their money back

i has a snotty e mail from E Bay saying i should have taken it up with them before claiming my money back from the my credit car, I thought that was a bit rich as both E Bay and PayPal would not entertain my claim

You need to contact Ebay Resolution Centre - chat online and they should make the refund.

They gave me a date as well before they will take action. Just contact them on that date and you'll get your refund.

Giving the Seller a certain amount of time is standard procedure , it s designed to cover most eventualities like the Seller being unable to send due to poor health etc , the refund is guaranteed. , it s just that they have to give both parties an equal chance to resolve the situation .

The seller has a lot of positive feedback before the big bout of negative. I wonder if his account was hacked? Either that or, as has been mentioned, he just wanted to pull a fast one.

I had my first ebay issue last month for the first time in about 12 years...I logged a complaint with eBay who then thanked me for highlighting the issue (automatic reply) and said to give the seller a specific amount of time to respnd, I think about a week or two. They then emailed me to see if I had any joy to which I replied back and they refunded me the money almost immediately. Boils my blood that people are so dishonest in this world, hopefully karma will implement suffering.

I doubt that because when the first parcel didn't show up I sent him a message. His reply said that the courier had lost the package and he would send a replacement. So that's 2 parcels that never arrived. The reply was obviously done so that I would delay contacting Ebay thereby allowing his sham sales to continue.

No money lost because of Ebay guarantee, but it still leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. (n)

One good thing - picked up the Autoglym Ultra HD Wax from Halfords today. Looks a good product with a very nice applicator. The wax also has a very attractive smell - my wife said it reminded her of some expensive moisturiser that she uses. I'll have to hide the AG Wax in case she decides to try that. Mind you, it should give her a nice shine with good water dispersal in the shower. :ROFLMAO:

    Yes it does happen .
I bought some vintage dolls clothes for my granddaughter s 5 th birthday, they never arrived and I got a refund from Ebay , I left negative feed back as I was really annoyed . A month or so later I got a message from a very nice woman apologising for not sending the dolls clothes and informing me they were now in the post free of charge. She explained that her husband handled the online sales stuff and had died a month previously . I tried to delete the negative feedback I left but it s almost impossible to do that , so I left more feedback instead telling people to ignore my previous feedback . I offered to pay her for them again but she would nt have it . So yes, these things can and do happen .

Open a case with eBay, they'll refund you in due course.
