well after years of struggling i have decided to bite the bullet and buy an extra long hose for the pressure washer from Q Washers on e bay my Nilfisk came with a 5 metre hose and as the car is over 5 metres long i have been dragging the pressure washer around the car as i go but this is a pain in the butt so i thought i would go for a new long hose, now with a bit of luck the pressure washer will sit by the tap at the back door and i will be able to get the hose all around the car without having to drag the washer with me
I have been looking for a while and wanted to get one but the Scotsman in me wouldn't allow me to get my wallet out and spent the £50.00 required to purchase one, all i need now is some dry weather to try it out rained non stop all day today
Do these super duper long hoses work with a Karcher K4 by any chance? My car cleaning sensors are on overload
yes they do make the same hose with the karcher K4 fittings https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KARCHER-...hash=item2f0ec623e0:m:mrb90p0u49g1bcKTE7R7VUQ and as slim said it is a rubber hose, not sure about the karcher but with nilfisk the hose from the machine to the lance was like a hard plastic and it was a bit of a pain the new one is more like you would find at the local jet wash and the fittings look like they are good quality as well
I got the Extra Long Hose in rubber for my Nilfisk a year or so ago . I find it Much better that the Standard 5M one as well and as it s rubber it s a lot more pliable. My original Nilfisk Hose burst so had to replace it anyway .
@pinewood the hose that was in the link was the newer Karcher quick release hose which is quick release at the machine and at the gun i take it that is the one you need rather than the older c clip type?
2017 Karcher K4 full control with the new quick release at the machine and the gun. Thanks for checking in on me
it is always a worry when you put up a link and are not sure exactly what machine it is going on, what length did you go for it will be so much easier not having to drag the machine around the car, I cant wait to use mine and at 8.00am it was dry but cold after breakfast it was hail stones and snow so i am staying tucked up in the warm
I went for the 15 metre as my driveway can squeeze 4 cars onto it, and the water tap is in the corner. Means i can leave the Karcher in 1 spot and move around the vehicle freely. It's sunny outside, and will give the cars a foam non contact wash after brunch
Don't blame you, My old Karcher was a short hose and for ever dragging it (and puling it over), total pain, why or the sake a few quid worth of hose cant they make them 8m minimum like my Nilfisk, its good enough for my car.
I didn't know you could get such a thing. I get in a hell of a tangle, dragging mine about. I will make enquiries.
qwashers seem to do a full range of hoses that covers most machine and manufactures, there are also other sellers on e bay that offer the same type replacement hoses
And ordered. I am going to snow foam the car this week and that will make it 10 times easier, by the look of it. Thanks Mach One and all
that looks the same hose that my machine uses and i looked at that exact hose but they list a whole raft of machines but not the C130 so wasnt sure if it would be ok for my machine, C110, C120 etc just seemed a bit random to me and the C130 was not included in the main description he did say it was for machines without a hose reel which the C130 has but i have never used it as the nilfisk plastic hose was a right royal pain to get on the reel and i only ever tried it once, and a hose three times longer than the nilfisk one is not going to fit on the reel anyway
